Relational Therapy
Lots of folks who work with me come in needing to treat a relational crisis such as someone finding out about an affair. Some come in finally accepting that a slow process of drifting apart is no longer sustainable for the relationship. Many are feeling hopeless about their sex life improving. Neurodivergence and trauma within a relationship can create a convoluted landscape of what to do. Sometimes we need to focus on making a decision about whether or not to stay in the relationship and how to say goodbye in a meaningful way. Although most of the folks coming in are wanting to focus on a relational or sexual issue, I also love joining folks who just want to deepen and expand their relationship.
I’m an ally with the LGBTQ+ community and I welcome those exploring non-monogamy/polyamory. I’d love to work with your relationship in whatever form it takes!
Along with a skillset to help deepen connection, improve sexual intimacy, and restructure communication patterns, I specialize in affair/betrayal recovery and in helping the “typical male” safely explore with their partner the vulnerability that’s waiting for them right behind the wall.

Individual Therapy
No matter what is bringing you in, my hope is to introduce you to the healer that’s already in you. One therapist, two healers. Moving into a space of curiosity, compassion, and courage, we work together to bring positive experiences of internal exploration. The more corrective experiences like this, the more the healing takes off inside you. And eventually, you’ll realize that you are the one creating that beautiful, explorative, and healing space inside… and not me. Models I use with individual therapy are trauma formed and help give clarity on how you can unburden and reprocess painful experiences, even if you don’t have PTSD. I’ve found that almost every single person I work with has an internal critic. I love exploring and working with folks who carry traumatic burdens, those who have intense internal critics, those with ADHD, those with acting out parts, those who are just trying to figure out “why do I keep doing this!?” and those who are trying to navigate grief, difficult life transitions, or make a difficult decision.
As a specialty area of focus, I do a lot of therapeutic work reprocessing religious trauma and working with those who either were in a ministry role or are currently in a ministry role. I also have personal connection to being an emotional withdrawer (in recovery) myself. So I get it.

Nature-Based Therapy
In our society we move at the speed of light, in nature, we get to move at the speed of life. There’s a good chance if you ask any mental health professional what they enjoy doing for self-care, they’ll mention nature. We understand nature in science as one of the most regulating things for our nervous systems, something that instantly opens up neuroplasticity, and one of the most connecting things we can do. Being one of the most powerful resources for anything mental-health related, it’s unreal to think that it’s completely free and instantly available to everyone. Yet, most therapists do therapy on a screen or in an office. Which I’ve done for many years, so no judgement! I stumbled into Nature-Based Therapy more as a personal healing experience than a professional one. The more I made nature-based practices a part of my life, the better I felt. Why not use the healing, regulating, connecting aspects of nature to accelerate and deepen the therapy we’re already doing? In this work, I view mother nature as the original regulator, attachment figure, and as my co-therapist. Nature-Based Therapy exists on a scale ranging anywhere from a guided meditation while looking out your window all the way to an intensive and immersive outdoor experience. If open, we could blend Nature-Based Therapy into our regular individual or couple therapy work. For some, it might make sense for us to do intensive retreat-style Nature-Based Therapy. Nature itself is always unfolding, and we can craft Nature-Based Treatment together that works for you in the same way.
If it feels right, join me for a Nature-Based Therapy experience through the Northeast Ohio park system. My favorite spot around here is Quail Hollow State Park, especially the Red and Green trail. We would walk and connect to the experience, share some beverages and snacks, find a good spot to process, and enjoy the walk back together.
Whether rain, snow, or shine, I’d love to plan out a Nature-Based Therapy experience with you.

Psychedelic Assisted Therapy
The Psychedelic Assisted Therapy approach I’d be using with you would be Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). KAP might be a good fit for you if you’ve tried traditional talk therapy or psychiatric options and still feel stuck. There is a lot of research showing the benefits of KAP in it’s ability to create a calm state, open up the brain’s natural capacity for neuroplasticity, and to impact treatment resistant depression within minutes. This is really different than a typical anti-depressant which can take weeks to take effect. A Ketamine experience can help present a less threatening inner world to start connecting to and reprocessing the pain that’s there. We would take our time exploring KAP as an option, do preparation work together and would really focus on the integration work in-between doses and after your KAP protocol is completed. KAP could be weaved into our work together in couple therapy or in individual therapy. Some folks might want to simply use my resources as an “adjunct” to the work there’re already doing with another therapist. In that case, you’d be doing your ongoing work with whoever you’re already connected to, and our work would focus simply on preparation and dosing. I am currently partnered with Journey Clinical who would handle assessment and prescription. Medical fees and therapy fees would be separate.

IFS Level 2 Intimacy from the Inside Out
I’m beginning my Level 2 IFS training in March of 2027! I selected a training called “Intimacy from the Inside Out” (IFIO for short) which is Internal Family Systems applied to relational dynamics. The vast attachment research behind Emotionally Focused Therapy combined with the power of trauma healing model (Internal Family Systems) has already become a massive part of my clinical identity. I can’t wait to dive into a model that cohesively structures attachment science and trauma research into one platform. Click the button below if IFIO has peaked your curiosity!
Frequency of appointments
Most find it valuable to meet more often at the beginning of treatment. I recommend a weekly or bi-weekly appointment when getting started. Once things begin stabilizing, we won’t need to meet as often. Eventually, I will be available to you on an “if needed” basis. The more progress you make, the more you enjoy your life, and the less you need therapy. One of my favorite parts of my work is becoming irrelevant to the progress clients make.
Treatment frequency can be adapted to fit your unique situation.
If needed, it is possible to extend our time by adding additional 30 minute blocks billed at half of the hourly rate. It’s helpful to schedule these 90 or 120 minute blocks in advance so there is availability in my schedule to do so.
